excitement with Colorist/Expressionist artist
GARY BORSE as he discusses
how he captures "Natural Florida" on canvas. You
will see Florida as you've never seen it before!
This award winning artist has his work shown in top
galleries from Florida to New York. A major display of his work is
at the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee. One publication
has named him the top acrylic artist is the state of Florida.
His major new show, "Adopting the Pace of
Nature" opens at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum on April 29th
and continues through June 5, 2011. Gary is currently showing
locally at the Windmill Gallery, McIntosh, Florida.
As a double treat, SEAN DOWIE, Owner/Director

new exhibit venue and some of his many creative projects that
support the arts in North Florida. SEAN is an award winning

Elementary Art and Music. She will also announce the
Second Annual Fund Raiser "MUSICAL CHAIRS" which supports
and enhances both the visual arts and music, in and beyond
the classroom.

Our May 12
Membership meeting will be held at the Gainesville Country Club and
will be an exciting evening of events. One of our guests will
be Jane Slivka and we will have an exhibit of paintings done at her
workshop in March. We are planning a fantastic evening of fun
and fraternizing with other art groups which we all should enjoy.
The Board
is also working on another venue for a major GFAA judged show to
add to the many we already have.
